FAQs

How do we get to Coll?

To get to Coll you must get the ferry from Oban through Caledonian MacBrayne. The ferry runs once per day, a full timetable can be found at Coll & Tiree: Oban - Coll - Tiree | CalMac Ferries. The time of departure does mean either a night in Oban is required, or an early start driving from Glasgow to make the ferry on time, but the way we see it is that this is all part of the adventure, and Doddie DiscoFest starts when the journey to Coll begins!

What accommodation is available?

To view the accommodation options on Coll visit www.visitcoll.co.uk and explore there. The bunkhouse in the village is a great option and sits alongside An Cridhe where the main event is being held, the Coll Hotel is another option along with Tigh na Mara Guesthouse and Dun Fraoch guesthouse, all situated in the village. There are numbers holiday rentals around the island, and some campsites for those looking for a more wild experience!

Does a ticket cover both nights?

Yes! A Doddie DiscoFest ticket will get you in to both the Coll Hotel Garden party on Friday the 27th of September, and the Doddie DiscoFest Main Event on Saturday the 28th of September - it’s back to back nights of disco and you’re invited!

Where can we get food on the island?

Coll Stores is our only grocery shop on the island, there opening times can change and an update on their opening times for the DiscoFest weekend will be posted here once known. It is worth bringing some provisions with you to Coll, but Coll Stores has a good range of things available and gets deliveries of fresh produce several times a week.
